A swimming pool in Middleton, Massachusetts, will be out of commission for a little while after police say a driver drove into it Tuesday morning.
Officers responded to calls for a vehicle in a pool at a condominium complex on Village Road just before 11:30 a.m.
When officers arrived, the vehicle was teetering on the edge of the pool and then slid into the water.
Authorities said a couple of people were able to help the 72-year-old driver and her passenger out of the vehicle before it went into the water.
No injuries were reported.
A tow truck was called in to remove the vehicle. Authorities said some damage was done to the pool, fence and some nearby shrubs.
The cause of the crash is under investigation but police believe the driver hit the gas instead of the brake.
