16 Displaced in Worcester Fire

More than a dozen people were left without a home Thursday night after a fire in Worcester, Massachusetts.

Crews deployed ladders to rescue four people who were trapped on the second and third floors of a 4-story Harrison Street home.

Those quick rescues were the difference, according to fire officials.

"I couldn't be prouder of these firefighters," said Deputy Chief Martin Dyer of the Worcester Fire Department. "The decisions that were made within seconds to make sure those ressidents were rescued and out safe was really an amazing job."

Four firefighters were taken to a hospital for exhaustion and dehydration. Others were treated at the scene.

At least 16 residents were displaced, fire officials said.
