A wealthy Manhattanite was arrested for beating an Asian man while shouting about immigrants and “white power,” police said.
Steven Zatorski, 48, was arrested and charged with assault after witnesses told an NYPD transit cop about the beating, according to police.
The 30-year-old victim was near Third Avenue and East 53rd Street in midtown on Monday morning when police say Zatorski came up at random and shouted, “You are a f------ immigrant!”

Police said Zatorski kicked the man twice in the leg and punched him in the face and back of the head, all while shouting, “Go back to your country” and “We are white power.”
The victim, who was treated at the scene, suffered bruising and swelling to his eye, according to police.
Zatorski, who lives at a Sixth Avenue condo building with a 24-hour concierge, according to the Daily News, was held on $5,000 bail at Rikers Island, police confirmed. According to the News, a man who claimed to be related to Zatorski denied the allegations.
An attorney for Zatorski could not immediately be reached, the News said.
