Donald Trump made a major foreign policy speech on Monday where he tried, once again, to make a so-called pivot in an attempt to make himself palatable to a general election audience, NBC News reported.
Aided by teleprompters, Trump lambasted Hillary Clinton as lacking the judgment to be commander in chief and expanded on his proposed Muslim ban.
While fact checkers will point out some whoppers, the speech at least stuck to Trump's core message, rather than distracting from it — which counts as an significant accomplishment these days.
But, as NBC News reported, Trump has a long list of these reset speeches that ultimately fail.
