
Months after being acquired by salad restaurant chain Sweetgreen, Spyce is quietly closing the doors of its physical restaurants in Boston.
A spokesperson for Los Angeles-based Sweetgreen Inc. confirmed to the Business Journal that the company plans to close the Spyce restaurant in Harvard Square on Feb. 18.
Its robotic food-preparation technology is expected to live on — in Sweetgreen restaurants.
