An NBC10 Boston crew on scene also observed a gun on the ground, marked by evidence markers. The weapon was collected by investigators.

Two homes were damaged by bullets. Photos from the scene show heavy damage to a shot-up window. A victim told police he was walking outside when he saw two people, "words were exchanged" and then shots were fired.

Investigators said they identified two suspects based on video footage from the incident. They found the suspects, who were wearing the same clothing as seen on the video, in a vehicle they stopped on Walnut Avenue.

Police initially believed a gunshot victim who walked into a local hospital was injured in the incident, but later determined that they were hurt in a separate shooting on East Cottage Street. That person was shot in the hand, and the injuries are not life-threatening, police said.
