2 Seriously Injured After Car Hits Deer, Rolls Over Multiple Times

The crash happened around 11 p.m. on Thursday

Two people were seriously injured when the car they were driving in struck a deer on Interstate 93 in New Hampshire and rolled over several times on Thursday night.

Just before 11 p.m., New Hampshire State Police were called to a single-car crash on I-93 north in Littleton. When they arrived they found a badly damaged 2012 Honda Civic in the median between the northbound and southbound lanes.

State police said it appears t he car was headed north on I-93 when it hit a deer and careened off the left side of the roadway, rolling several times before coming to a rest upright.

Three people were in the vehicle at the time - Daniel Simonds, 21, of Littleton, Norman Boucher, 23, of Essex Junction, Vermont, and a juvenile.

Two of the occupants were ejected from the vehicle. They were initially taken to Littleton Regional Hospital and later flown to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon for further treatment of serious injuries. Police didn't say which two of the three people were injured.
