Driver Crashes Into House in Quincy

A man was hospitalized Sunday after crashing into a house in Quincy, Massachusetts.

Police confirm a driver crashed into a home on Quarry Street. He was taken to Southshore Medical Center.

The severity of his injuries was not known.

Thomas Schwake was watching TV inside a nearby home when he heard something that didn't sound right.

"We went to the window," he said. "Looked in, and there was a car sticking into my neighbor's house."

He and others ran over. He says the driver seemed to be dazed.

"He was awake, but not really responding to anything anyone was saying at that point," Schwake said.

Schwake said the truck the man was driving was coming down the hill when it went off the road, hitting two cars in the driveway and knocking one into the house.

Victor McDouglas, who lives next door, says this is the third time the house has been hit. He says the cars always hit the house on the same side.

According to neighbors, no one was home at the time of the crash.
