A man was significantly injured by a U-Haul truck Saturday morning.
Around 9:03 a.m., a family member reported to Wellesley Police that a victim was struck and injured by a U-Haul truck on Lathrop Road.
Investigation revealed two family members had parked the U-Haul in the driveway and began loading the truck. The truck began to roll forward in the driveway and a male in his 60s attempted to stop it, partially falling under the truck.
The man sustained significant injuries to his lower extremities. He was transported via medical helicopter to Massachusetts General Hospital.
