It looks like a new spot may be opening in Roslindale, and it could end up being a multi-use concept.

According to a licensing board hearing page within the City of Boston website, The Square Root is seeking a beer and wine license to operate on Corinth Street in Roslindale Square, with the address indicating that it plans to move into the space where Marla's Obsession Boutique had once been. An earlier post from Universal Hub (via Roslindale Village Main Street) mentions that a three-in-one business had been looking to open in this space, with the spot being a breakfast and lunch cafe as well as a co-working space during the day, and a performance space at night. It is not known if this is still what is being planned for the site; as soon as we find out more, we will post an update here.

The address for this proposed spot in Roslindale Square is: The Square Root, 2 Corinth Street, Roslindale, MA, 02131.
