It’s another beautiful summer weekend of weather for much of New England, with just a few exceptions.
Expect the most sunshine today in Southern New England, with just a spot shower. Highs will be in the 70s to near 80.
Across the lakes and mountains of Northern New England, however, we’ll have more clouds and rounds of showers. That will keep temperatures locked in the 60s and 70s.

That means somewhere like the Cape and Islands will be the best spot to be if you want to stay dry and sunny.
Overnight skies will partially clear as showers end. Lows will drop into the 50s and 60s, and you won’t need the air conditioning because the air stays so dry and comfortable.
Sunday brings more sunshine for everyone, and just an isolated shower or two in far Northern New England. Highs will be in the 70s to around 80 again.
Monday is a touch warmer, with more 80s and partly cloudy skies. A front will enter New England, triggering a few spotty showers or a storm, especially well North and West of Boston.
That front then gets hung up in Southern New England on Tuesday, allowing an area of low pressure to ride through the area. That will bring a steadier batch of rain Tuesday afternoon into early Wednesday.

For now it looks like we’ll dry out Wednesday afternoon, only to have a few showers pop up on Thursday through the interior.
An early look at next weekend is so far favorable, with mostly dry conditions expected.
