A car careened into a creek in Cambridge, Massachusetts overnight.
Cambridge firefighters hauled the car out of the water Wednesday morning after the Somerville Police Department reported it was on its side near Alewife Brook Parkway and Woodstock Street. The area is on the Cambridge-Somerville line.
A witnesses told police that the people who were inside the car got out, left it in the water and drove off in a black sedan before first responders arrived on scene.
An investigation is ongoing. No further information was immediately available.
