Police on Martha's Vineyard are warning others about distracted driving after a driver rolled over their car while texting and driving.
According to Oak Bluffs police, they responded to Alpine Avenue for a car that had rolled onto its side around 9:30 p.m. Friday.
The cause of the accident appeared to be distracted driving and was cited for texting and driving and marked lanes violation.
The driver was not injured in the accident, police said.
Police say this is why texting and driving is illegal, and they remind the public to drive responsibly.
