A 14-year-old boy riding a bicycle was hospitalized late Monday after being struck by a truck in East Bridgewater, Massachusetts, according to police.
The incident happened in the area of 125 West St. at about 5:15 p.m.
Police said the teenager had come out from behind a van and attempted to cross Route 106 when he was struck.

The teen was taken by medical helicopter to Massachusetts General Hospital with serious injuries. The extent of them wasn't immediately clear.
The 64-year-old driver of the truck remained on the scene.
The crash remains under investigation by East Bridgewater police
