It was a rocky start to New Year’s Eve in Jamaica Plain.
Boston firefighters responded to 60 Bickford St. when two people were trapped inside a blind shaft elevator. This took place around 6:20 p.m.
Crews made the rescue by using a ladder, harnesses and a hoist system.
There were no injuries reported in this rescue.
