George Foreman III Is Looking for a Fight in the Financial District

After making an impact with his first luxury boxing gym in the Seaport, George Foreman III has officially opened the second location of his popular EveryBodyFights gym in the heart of the Financial District.

EBF FIDI opens today at One Federal Street, offering more than 130 classes each week, three classrooms, and locker rooms with showers all spread across 6,500 square feet.

“The Financial District is the perfect spot for our next gym,” says George Foreman III. “After spending time in the area and getting a feel for the vibe, I noticed a few things about the people: they’re busy, work very hard, expect the best, and they're very competitive. EBF Fitness is an efficient and fun workout that will fit their schedule. I can't wait to see the competitive side of FIDI really shine when it comes to the bragging rights of owning your number and the exclusivity of the first 500 group.”

That EBF Fitness training program was developed by Foreman taking inspiration from his legendary father, George Foreman Sr., as well as own 16-0 professional boxing career. Membership isn't what most people would call cheap – monthly membership ranges from an open gym for $130 to a 10-class pack for $300 – but I can say, from personal experience having taken a couple classes in the Seaport, you won't leave feeling unfulfilled.

EveryBodyFights is opening a third location in Midtown Manhattan sometime this summer.
