A man is scheduled to face a judge Wednesday after allegedly threatening someone with a gun then setting off a massive search inside a park in Hingham, Massachusetts.
The incident began at about 10 p.m. Tuesday at Bare Cove Park after police said they received a call from a man who said he had been assaulted by someone he knew.
Authorities arrived at the park and set up a perimeter to find the suspect.
People living in the area were also notified of the situation by reverse 911.

The suspect, who has not yet been identified, was taken into custody inside the park just before 3 a.m. Wednesday.
Police said the suspect is being held at the Hingham Police Department and is expected to appear in Hingham District Court. It's unclear what charges he is facing or if he has an attorney.
