With the final season of HBO's "Game of Thrones" just weeks away, fans of the show will have a chance to meet one of its most iconic characters in Boston next week.
Kristian Nairn, who played the fan favorite Hodor for five seasons, will be in Boston on Tuesday, greeting fans at the AT&T Flagship Store at 699 Boylston St., which is being transformed into an immersive "Game of Thrones" experience, featuring virtual reality and altered reality experiences, as well as costumes and props from the show.
Fans arriving at noon will have a chance to meet Nairn and take photos with him. And yes, he'll be holding the door. They'll also be able to take pictures on the Iron Throne and in front of the "Hold the Door" activation.
