Man Dies in Boston Stabbing, Police Say

The victim was taken to a local hospital by ambulance and later died

A man who was stabbed early Saturday in Boston has died, police said.

Boston police said officers were called about 5:45 a.m. to the area of Melnea Cass Boulevard and Massachusetts Avenue, near Boston Medical Center in the city's Roxbury neighborhood, where a person was found suffering from stab wounds.

The victim was taken to a local hospital by ambulance, police said. He later died at the hospital.

The person who was stabbed hasn't been identified and police haven't said what they believe took place in the incident. It's not immediately clear if police suspect anyone in the case.
