Red Line Service Down, Replaced With Shuttles

Commuters should expect delays as Red Line services are suspended due to a power problem, according to the MBTA.

The MBTA’s Red Line was down Tuesday morning due to a "power problem" at Boston's South Station, the agency wrote on Twitter.

The Red Line services were suspended and slated to be replaced with shuttle buses between Park Street and JFK/UMass. Commuters should expect delays, according to the MBTA.
