A 35-year-old Massachusetts man was killed Tuesday morning following a rollover crash on Interstate 95 in Wakefield, Massachusetts, state police said.
Troopers responded to the crash on I-95 southbound around 5:30 a.m. The victim, who was ejected from the vehicle, was taken to Lahey Hospital in Burlington, where he was pronounced dead.
The victim was later identified as Michael Creech, of Weymouth, police said.
A preliminary investigation by state police indicated that Creech's Toyota Corolla came in contact with a Jeep Wrangler, causing Creech's vehicle to roll over multiple times.
The driver of the Wrangler, a 61-year-old Saugus man, did not suffer any injuries as a result of the crash, according to police.
The incident caused significant traffic delays until the scene was cleared.
The exact cause of the crash remains under investigation.
