Weather Stays Quiet, Sunny Through Thursday

Temperatures will climb from the low 80s on Monday into the upper 80s and low 90s Wednesday and Thursday

In the last 24 hours the dew points have dropped from the 70s into the 50s. Dew points in the 70s feel like you’re in Florida during the heart of summer, dew points in the 50s feel like a September day.

Our weather was quite enjoyable this Saturday, but the break from the heat and humidity won’t last for very long.

So far, Boston Logan Airport has logged two 90°+ days. If you look at the last few years through July 7th, the number is on track with 2016. That year we finished the season with 22 days at or above 90°. This summer won't necessarily be a repeat of 2016, but it's a good example of how summer can turn itself around. In 2017 when we had eight 90°+ days through July 7th, but we ended the season with only 14 90°+ days.

Our weather will be quiet and sunny through Thursday. Temperatures will climb from the low 80s on Monday into the upper 80s and low 90s Wednesday and Thursday.

Showers and thunderstorms will be possible Thursday night into Friday. Most of the day Thursday will be dry. Thunderstorms will add to the humidity for the weekend. Temperatures look to stay in the mid/upper 80s to around 90° from Saturday through the day on Wednesday of the following week. With the humidity in place, it’s possible we could see a shower or thunderstorm almost at any time.
