Clouds continue to increase a tad as a warm front lifts through the area tonight. This will trigger a few showers, mainly in northern New England overnight.

The showers head north along the front and then the boundary stalls across southern Vermont and New Hampshire tomorrow. South of the front we will see highs in the 70s and 80s, late day breaks of sun, higher humidity and a gusty southwest wind.

To the north of the front, highs will be in the 50s to 60s depending on how much sunshine we see and a few showers.

The low pressure center tracks across northern New England Wednesday night into Thursday morning and this is when we expect scattered rain and thunderstorms, though we don't expect widespread or severe storms.

The cold front moves out Thursday afternoon and we will see decreasing clouds and lowering humidity. Highs will be in the mid to upper 70s. We cool a bit with more refreshing air Friday as highs will be in the low 70s.

Our weekend looks fantastic with sunshine both days and highs in the low to mid 70s, 80s inland on Sunday. Next week will remain close to average for our temperatures, which are in the 70s for highs and 50s for lows.

A system is showing up on the extended models for Tuesday into possibly Thursday, so we added scattered showers and storms in those days. Stay tuned for updates.
