Indonesia Earthquake: Death Toll Climbs as Rescue Efforts Wind Down

A powerful 7.5 magnitude earthquake and tsunami leveled blocks of homes and hotels in parts of Indonesia, killing at least 1,948 people and injuring hundreds more. Officials say as many as 5,000 more may be buried in parts of Palu, a hard-hit city on Indonesia's Sulawesi island, and that the search for survivors is slated to end on Thursday.
