Edaville’s Not So Spooky Halloween Party
Kick off the Halloween season with Edaville Family Theme Park's first annual "Not So Spooky Halloween." Wear your favorite costume and enjoy a full day of family fun including parent approved trick or treating at every ride. 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Edaville Family Theme Park, 5 Pine St., Carver.
Guided tours take place daily at Harpoon Brewery, giving visitors an up close and personal view of the brewing process. As part of the tour, visitors 21 and over will enjoy a range of freshly-brewed Harpoon and UFO beers. Tours last approximately one hour. Tickets are $5 and only available the day of the tour and can only be purchased in person. Noon to 6 p.m., Harpoon Brewery, 306 Northern Ave., Boston.

Frightful Fridays: Spooky Tales in the Gore Mansion
Enjoy an evening of spooky tales and haunted activities inside the centuries-old Gore Mansion in Waltham. Adult tickets are $15. Members and children 12 and under are $10. 7 p.m. and 8:15 p.m. Gore Mansion, 52 Gore Place, Waltham.

Blue Man Group at the Charles Playhouse
Combining music, technology and comedy, Blue Man Group creates a form of entertainment that can’t be defined, but appeals to people of all ages. Described as “innovative,” “energetic” and “wildly entertaining,” the best way to truly understand what Blue Man Group is, is to see the show yourself. Tickets start at $66. 7:30 p.m., Charles Playhouse, 74 Warrenton St., Boston.
This 90-minute walking tour takes you through the historic and haunted streets of Boston by lantern light where you’ll hear all the tales of Boston’s most famous ghosts who are rumored to haunt the city. 7:30 p.m., 8 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $18 for adults, $15 for seniors over 62 and $13 for children under 16.
Saturday, Oct. 20
The world’s best crew teams will descend on the banks of the Charles River this weekend for the 2018 Head of the Charles Regatta. The world’s largest two-day rowing competition attracts more than 11,000 athletes and draws crowds of tens of thousands of spectators annually for this premiere event. 7:45 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Head over to Jamaica Pond this morning and take part in a free, timed 5K run, jog or walk. This is weekly event. 9-10:30 a.m., Jamaica Pond, Jamaica Plain.
Celebrate Halloween LEGO style at LEGOLAND Discovery Center’s Brick or Treat event featuring a pumpkin patch photo opp, a Halloween build off challenge, and LEGO trick or treating where you can collect pieces at different locations throughout the center, along with a costume contest and more. 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., 598 Assembly Row, Somerville.
