A chain of hamburger places has closed one of its Boston-area locations, leaving only three left locally.
According to a source, Johnny Rockets at the South Shore Plaza in Braintree is no longer in business, with a check on the chain's website confirming this, as the Braintree outlet is no longer on its locations page. No reason has been given for its closure, nor is it known what might move into the space; as soon as we find out more, we will post an update here.
Johnny Rockets, which is based in California, currently has Boston-area shops at Logan Airport in East Boston, Acton, and Burlington. The website for the chain can be found at http://www.johnnyrockets.com/
