A state trooper was injured Monday night in a crash on I-95 in Newton, Massachusetts.
The trooper's cruiser was parked in the left lane, which was closed while he was working a construction detail. Police say another car hit the cruiser from behind.
That car was then hit by a third car.
The trooper was taken to Newton-Wellesley Hospital. He suffered non-life-threatening injuries, as did one of the other drivers.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
