Supporting Our Schools: Collecting Donations in Boston

For the third straight year, NBC 10 Boston, necn and Telemundo Boston have teamed up with several nonprofit foundations and other sponsors to raise money for school supplies for those in need.

On Wednesday, from 6 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., stop by our Supporting Our Schools live location at the Boston Common Frog Pond, where Christa Delcamp and more of our personalities will be on hand throughout the day, helping to raise awareness of the crisis facing our schools when it comes to making sure they're adequately supplied.

Donations will be collected today at the Frog Pond, in the form of actual supplies and money. Supplies being accepted include pens, pencils, notepads, iPads, backpacks and highlighters.

Donations can also be brought to the following BJ's locations through the end of July and the following Simon Mall locations through Aug. 11:
