Man Arrested for Alleged Armed Robbery Outside Pizza Shop

A Massachusetts man is facing multiple charges after allegedly robbing a group of men at gunpoint outside of a pizza shop.

Police say Quincy Sears, 25, of Fall River, approached three men outside of Royal Pizza on North Main Street shortly before 10:30p.m. on Friday.

According to police, Sears, who was wearing a ski mask, gloves, and dark clothing, reportedly pointed a gun at the men and demanded money.

Sears reportedly threatened to shoot the men after they attempted to call police, according to police. After taking money from one of the men, Sears reportedly ran away. The men chased Sears in their car and caught up to him.

Police arrived to find the three men holding Sears on the ground, and a replica handgun nearby.

According to police, the responding officer, "found it very peculiar that Sears was wearing black ski mask and gloves on a very mild winter night and Sears had a very poor explanation of what he was doing prior to being captured."

Sears was arrested and taken to a nearby hospital for injuries he sustained during the altercation with the three men.

Sears faces multiple charges including armed robbery, witness intimidation, and assault with a deadly weapon.
