The Massachusetts elementary school teacher who was arrested following an investigation into alleged misconduct between he and a student is expected to appear in court Tuesday.
Matthew DiMuccio, 32, of Wellesley, was arrested Monday in his home and charged with two counts of indecent assault and battery on a child under 14, according to Whitman Police Chief Scott D. Benton.
The suspect, who was a music teacher at Duval Elementary School, was placed on administrative leave on May 15 after a school resource officer learned of the alleged inappropriate contact between he and a student.
DiMuccio is scheduled to appear in Brockton District Court for his arraignment. It is unclear if he has an attorney.
