Firefighters rescued a woman who was apparently stuck in a manhole early Thursday morning in Boston.
Police said crews responded to the area of 45 School St. just before 3 a.m. after receiving a call for an evaluation.
Firefighters who arrived at the scene found the woman, who police said was homeless, stuck in a manhole and had to use a ladder to get her out of it.
The woman, who was not identified, was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Although police said the woman climbed into the manhole, fire officials said it's unclear if the woman fell or climbed into the manhole.
