Strong high pressure from Canada brings us a bright but cold start for Tuesday.

Starting off in the single numbers and teens north to 20s south, high temperatures struggle to get to the freezing mark. Sunny skies and light winds will mean it will be a pleasant day even though temperatures stay in the 30s.

Another warm-up greets us for Valentine’s Day. Temperatures will reach the mid-40s under sunny skies.

A warm front Thursday and a cold front Friday may generate a few rain showers, changing to snow in the mountains Friday and will return by the end of the week.

Plain rain showers and a few sunny breaks will be around on Thursday as high temperatures come close to 60 degrees.

Before the cold front rolls through on Friday, high temperatures will happen just after midnight. When you add up all the rain, 1/4 inch to 1/2 inche of rain is possible. At this point, it doesn’t look as damp as the wet weather we had around this past weekend.

Our weekend looks quiet. Saturday will be off to a cold start with high temperatures in the low 30s. Sunday will warm into the low 40s. There is an outside chance of a shower during the afternoon on Sunday.

Get ready for another warm-up, and again, this warm-up will be accompanied with showers. This is an early spring pattern in place.
