HubSpot, LogMeIn and Endurance International Group are among the most beloved business software providers of 2018, according to a new report by software review site G2 Crowd.
G2 Crowd, a Chicago-based company that crowdsources reviews of B2B software, released its list of the 100 best software companies of 2018 on Tuesday. Each company was scored based on user feedback and their market presence, which includes multiple factors such as the company’s web and social presence, growth, number of employees and employee satisfaction.
Topping the list at No. 1 was Slack Technologies, followed by Shopify, Google, MailChimp and Salesforce. You can find the full list here.

Last week, G2 Crowd released a report on the state of B2B software in Boston, which included a separate ranking of the top 25 Boston-based software companies.
A G2 Crowd representative said any discrepancy in rankings for companies that appear on both the top 25 Boston list and the top 100 list is the result of different methodologies. While the top 25 Boston list looks at companies with a minimum of 10 reviews over the lifetime of G2 Crowd, the top 100 list only looks at companies with a minimum of 100 reviews received in the past year.
